The Nigeria We Deserve in the Twenty First Century

Innovatively and morally, we can build a prosperous society and develop our minds to reach our full potential as a people and a country by:

  1. Knowing who we are and our place on earth as humans.

  2. Redefining success.

  3. Building healthy relationships.

  4. Promoting cultural innovation.

  5. Fostering unity of mind and purpose.

This will lead to great prosperity and economic growth or development. Nigeria has the potential to be a very great nation. Nigeria has a large and diverse population, a rich culture, and a strong economy with all kinds of natural resources. However, there are many challenges that Nigeria faces, including corruption, poverty, and insecurity.

In order to build a better Nigeria or the Nigeria we deserve, we need to start with the basics. We need to redefine our understanding of success, build healthy relationships, promote cultural innovation, and foster unity of mind and purpose.

1. Knowing who we are and our place on earth as humans: We are all human beings and co-leaders of our sacred planet, and we all have the same basic rights, needs and desires. We all want to be successful: secure, happy, healthy, and loved. When we understand our common humanity, it becomes easier to build relationships with people from different backgrounds. It also becomes easier to see the world from their perspective and to understand their needs.

2. Redefining success. The traditional definition of success is based on material money and power. However, this definition of success is not sustainable. It leads to greed, inequality, and environmental destruction. We need to redefine success in a way that is more sustainable and more meaningful. We need to focus on success that is based on morality, happiness, health, and healthy relationships.

3. Building Healthy relationships. Healthy relationships are the foundation of a strong society. When people have healthy relationships, they are more likely to be happy, healthy, and productive. There are many things that we can do to build healthy relationships. We can be more supportive of each other as humans; provide equal opportunity of learning; avoid nepotism; we can be more forgiving, and we can be more honest. We can also learn to communicate effectively and to resolve conflict peacefully.

4. Promoting Cultural innovation: Nigeria has a rich culture that is full of creativity and innovation. We need to harness this creativity and innovation to build a better future for Nigeria. We can do this by supporting entrepreneurs, innovators and great thinkers. We can also create an environment where people feel safe to take risks and to try new things. Life is innovative; there are yet many things we ought to know to change the way we live or to live better and to create a more prosperous and sustainable future for ourselves and generations to come.

5. Fostering Unity of mind and purpose. Nigeria is a diverse country, but we all share the same goal of building a better future for our country. We need to come together as a nation and work towards this common goal. We can do this by setting aside our differences and focusing on what unites us. We can also build trust and understanding between different groups in society.

The principles outlined above can lead to economic growth and development in Nigeria in a number of ways.

1. Redefining success can lead to a more sustainable and equitable economy. When people focus on success that is based on happiness, health, and relationships, they are less likely to engage in destructive behaviors such as overconsumption and environmental degradation.

2. Building healthy relationships can lead to a more productive workforce. When people feel supported and valued, they are more likely to be engaged in their work and to be productive.

3. Promoting Cultural innovation can lead to better ways of thinking and creative solutions. It will lead to the development of new products or services that can boost the economy. When people are free to be creative and to think of how to live and contribute to society instead of the afterlife; they are more likely to come up with new ideas that can be turned into successful enterprises; objective reasoning and contributions to society.

4. Fostering national unity and purpose will lead to a sense of patriotism, responsibility and cohesion . Nothing beats unity. When people are united behind a common goal, they are more likely to work together to achieve that goal. This can lead to a more stable political environment and to a more attractive business climate.

5. Knowing who we are and our place on earth as humans as co-leaders of our sacred planet helps to live and act morally.  It can help us to treat each other right and live morally. It can also help to build meaningful enterprises or sustainable solutions to make our nation a better place where there is great moral standard and the rule of law.

In conclusion, the principles outlined above can help us build a better Nigeria and a secure sustainable future for us all. By focusing and working on these principles, Nigeria can become a leading nation in the world within ten years. That is why we are building “the Nigeria Project '' to innovate small towns and villages; developing the minds of the people with ideas and resources to help us make Nigeria a great and leading nation of the 21st Century.

The Advanced Interfaith and Interreligious Unity for Spiritual Network and Power of God

Nigeria is the most balanced nation of the Abrahamic faith (Islam and Christianity) to lead the most powerful interreligious/interfaith spiritual unity that would bring order not just to Nigeria but to the world at large. First of all, may I bring to your notice that Prophet Mohammed is one of the greatest messengers of God that would ever live. He was sent by God to serve and to show people the right way against worshiping idols and then to unite the world. See the Scriptures. And to be fair to many scholars of the Islamic faith, who have been misinterpreting the Quran wrongly or for selfish gains, those being referred to unbelievers by the Prophet were not Christians at all (who were highly recommended in the Koran) but those who worship idols at that time, even in Medina. Let this be clear and so it is also with the wrong and selfish interpreters of the Bible.
